Lunch Hour

Do you get a lunch hour?

In a day of more work and less relaxation, probably nobody takes an hour for lunch.  Some days, we are lucky to eat lunch at all—humpf!!

Even though, we take little time for a quality meal, this cat NEVAH, misses a meal, even if he has to work a little to get one.  This ATC is for my friend, Jan.  I couldn’t resist this image at a recent rubber stamping convention.  Don’t you think he is so cute?  Probably disappointed that he was caught, but knowing how these little furry creatures can be so tempermental, he is more likely upset from getting so wet.  😉  Don’t overlook that Mr. Cat had a decision to make as to what the lunch menu would consist of……a little mouse, or some little fish!  Looks like he opted for a little seafood.

Looks like the mouse lives to see another day.  😉

So Jan, hope you are pleased with your color challenge—Turquoise, Terra Cotta, and Black.  The stamped image is colored with prisma colored pencils and the stamped image of the clock is touched up with a hint of sparkle.  Lots of fun to make—thanks for letting me swap with you.

  1. I have never had a job that allowed an hour to have lunch. Considering that, I think I would have opted for the “see” food, too, unless it took more than 5 minutes to catch and cook. teehee.
This is a wonderfully creative card. Can’t wait to have it in my hand! Thank you, Christy!
