Going Green???

I would like to share with you all my first evah “twinchie with an inchie.”  This is a 2×2 inch square with a 1×1 inch square added—to form a twinchie with an inchie!  This new experience in art was outrageously fun and it did my art heart some good.

  twinchie money

With all of the talk of going green and news of our struggling economy, I was motivated to create some art.   This twinchie celebrates the good in both issues, because going  green and making a difference in our environment is important, and who wouldn’t want to plant some of these seeds, eh?   A handful of these green seeds, would also be a welcomed treat for many.

The twinchie was created with a money tree image and then some of the dollar bills were glazed over with the clear epoxy.  The base of the card was streaked with green watercolor shimmer paints.  The dangling inchie is a stamped image of a dollar sign, and finished off with some green edges.

  1. I love it Christy!!! of course, one of my fave themes!!! an inchie and a twinchie is something I have not yet attempted!! looks like DOUBLE fun !!!

  2. I haven’t stopped in for so long! Now you’re on wordpress! …. this is really cute …. 2 of my favorite sizes combined in one – small and smaller 🙂

p.s. you might find (or start) a puzzle piece swap on scs using the “everything else” swap forum. I haven’t swapped on scs for ages, but I think that is where you would find it …. or just do a search. HTH!
