Hot Town….

Summer in the City!

Nothing like a hot August day in the city.  Those tall, tall buildings block any sort of breeze, and relief is hard to come by!  So that is the inspiration behind this card…

Card Title: Hot Town, Summer in the City

How To:   Stamp cityscape on paint chip sample.  Paint cityscape with Watercolor Shimmer Paints, and layer with appropriate colored paper.  Use image of sun and sweaty guy, to adorn the corners.  Use 3D foam square on the sun image.  Snip orange paint chip sample to create a fringe, adhere under the main paint chip sample.  Punch tiny “sun-shape” from paint chip sample and place into the cityscape to give it some sunny architecture. Use computer generated words to create the title of Hot Sun–Summer in the City, make use of paint chip samples for adding a layer of color and dimension behind the words.

Stamps Used:  DoodleFactory Urban Cityscape from Starving Artist.

I really love what you’ve been doing with these paint chips. The color on the buildings and the colors on the whole card are just fabulous. Nice work!
