For those who don’t believe in a fairy, whose primary job is to watch over the pumpkins, then look below, because she was captured doing the most beautiful dance in my pumpkin patch last night.
The image of the fairy was colored with Prismas and Gamsol. Her skirt and wings were dusted with a glitter gel pen. (If you don’t have a clear glitter gel pen—get one—they are awesome!) Several layers of green and black cardstock were used for adding some depth to the fairy image.
Around the fairy you can see she has a few friends joining in her mid-night dance. There are a few ghosts, a spider, and some little hints of magic. Can you spot them?
I hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into the life of a fairy who finds such delight in making those big, fat, orange pumkins.
