Summer Sweetness

I have recently become COPIC Certified and have been using every spare minute to practice, practice, and practice some more, the techniques and instruction gained from the certification class.  I finally feel comfortable posting this card, with an adorable digi image from Sassy Cheryl’s, to display what I have learned about color and to demonstrate how marvelous and rich COPIC ink can be.

The flowers at the base of the card were colored and cut out and frayed ribbon made the perfect stems.

The rhinestones were clear and colored with COPICS to match the purple shades of the petals.  It’s my desire that this creation of Summer Sweetness is only the beginning to a future of inspirational color-licious projects.

I would encourage you to subscribe to my blog so that you stay current with additional postings.

  1. Congrats on being Copic Certified! And I see why. The coloring is just stunning! Lovin’ those ladybugs at the bottom of the card. Too stinkin’ cute.

    • Hi Kim! The COPIC training was more along the lines of being certified to instruct how to use the products. It was great fun and hope to take the intermediate class this fall. 🙂 Enjoying your blog and your work is always outstanding.

  2. Oh, very creative with the frayed ribbon… great idea.. your card is a delight!
So glad you joined us for the Sassy Cheryl Challenge this week!
