Thrifty Dreams

We are living in a day where every penny counts.  Resale shopping, garage sales, thrift stores, and extreme couponing are all the rage.  (I must admit thrift stores are my weakness.)  So I took my love for finding the best deal and put it together with ink, paper, and ribbon.  Here is the result….

The two stamped images are of the famous Maude from Art Impressions.  Don’t you love her expression?  When Maude drinks her coffee in the morning she reminisces about her perfect dream of saving money and finding the deal of the century.  Now more than ever, she is convinced she is Maude by day, and Thrifty Super Hero by Night.  Hope you are able to find that perfect garage sale this summer and may you find the deal of century is far better than you dreamed.

Be inspired to use bits of ribbon for added color less waste and incredible texture.

About Christy

I am a papercrafter who attempts to view life at a tricycle pace. If you are in a hurry don't ask me for directions. I love making art to swap, especially retro art. Creating is fun, but creating for the purpose of sharing is fulfilling.
